Day 16: POD delivery was already scheduled and happened to be the same
day as the bulkhead door excavation. I had planned on having the POD up
the hill beside the house. The driver was really leary about even trying.
The POD is only attached with a couple of big straps. The driver
predicted that the POD would slide down the bed and into the cab. He also
predicted that his truck's wheels would spin on the grass to the point
where he would get stuck. We went with "Plan B" instead and put the POD
just off the street at the corner of our property. I don't like it being
there, but that's the only choice. We were going to park our cars there
during the construction. We'll have to figure out somewhere else. |
