Day 335: On March 29th of the home improvement project the wardrobe
was moved into the newly carpeted basement family room. I had to cut the legs
shorter for it to fit where we wanted it to be. The unlevel concrete
floor under the carpet made this a challenge. I had to take careful measurements from
the ceiling to the carpet because each leg was slightly different with
almost 3/4 of an inch variance between legs. I must have done it
correctly because the top of the wardrobe looks level with the ceiling. With the wardrobe in its correct place I can now access my workbench again and also get into the refrigerator and freezer that were blocked. Next up is moving everything from the sunroom into the basement. |
